Harry worked at Abertay University for over 20 years teaching statistics at all levels to a wide range of students. He also led research groups, supervised post grad research students and conducted numerous consultancies.

He spent the last eight years in the pharma industry working on clinical trials and mentoring colleagues. During the same time, he ran a statistical consultancy company with activities including designing and analysing employee attitude surveys, designing efficient experiments, analysing medical data, statistical process control, etc.

He recently returned to Scotland to become an independent statistical consultant concentrating on clinical trials but also continuing with previous collaborations such as being Hon Professor at a Scottish university.
